Full & Partial Dentures | Dentist Puyallup

Experienced Dentists Puyallup for your family

What is a denture?

Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and which are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity.

Conventional dentures are removable, however there are many different denture designs, some which rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants.

Types of dentures

There are two main types of dentures: full and partial. Your dentists in Puyallup will help you choose the type of denture that's best for you based on whether some or all of your teeth are going to be replaced and the cost involved.

How long before I get used to my dentures?

New dentures may feel awkward or uncomfortable for the first few weeks or even months. Eating and speaking with dentures might take a little practice.

A bulky or loose feeling is not uncommon, while the muscles of your cheeks and tongue learn to hold your dentures in place. Excessive saliva flow, a feeling that the tongue does not have adequate room, and minor irritation or soreness are also not unusual.

Great place! Very friendly staff, easy appointment scheduling, fast and gentle teeth cleanings.

I've been going here for a few years now and I've always been more than satisfied with the care from Dr. Park and his staff. I like Dr. Park because he is thorough and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why he is doing it.

Dr. Park seemed really caring and took a good amount of time explaining what needed to be done. I had no cavities, so they don't lie to you about procedures like the other reviewers state! Also, I work in the dental field too, so trust me when I say it's a good office to go to.

Dr. Park is gentle, precise and attentive to my major anxiety with Dentists and needles. He talked me through everything and even gave me options to relax me during the procedure. I was a mess! He's been the only one I've referred people to go and see.
